- What is overselling?
- Overselling is the ability to alot unused resources to other accounts. Say you alot a customer 5 GB disk space and that customer uses 55 MB disk space, what a waste of disk space if it cannot be allocated in the future. However MaximHost does not over-oversell. If a server gets near full, accounts are moved to make room for growing accounts.
- FTP?
- FTP accounts are a certain. You have full FTP access to your home directory and can create seperate ftp accounts for subdirectories
- What is Softaculous?
- Softaculous is an auto installer similar to Fantastico de Luxe, except it offers a better user interface and more scripts for installation. If you need assistance with this, contact support. We install scripts such as Wordpress for free, including plugins and themes.
